Now Accepting Applications Scholarships

The Chesterfield Chapter of the Virginia State University Alumni Association (CCVSUAA) is now accepting applications for four (4) $2,000 scholarships to be awarded to graduating high school seniors.

These scholarships are intended to support students from Chesterfield County, Virginia, who plan to attend Virginia State University (VSU) full-time during the Fall 2026 semester.

✅ Who Can Apply?

You’re eligible if you:

  • Are a high school senior living in Chesterfield County, VA

  • Plan to attend Virginia State University full-time

  • Complete all required sections of the scholarship application

  • Submit a complete scholarship packet (details included in the application)

  • Mail your packet to the address listed in the application instructions.

⭐ How Winners Are Selected

Scholarships will be awarded based on:

  • Your personal letter (tell us your story!)

  • Overall quality and completeness of your application

  • Academic performance

  • Community service and extracurricular activities

  • A letter of recommendation

🗓 Important Deadline

⏰ All applications must be typed and received by June 5, 2026.
Late or incomplete applications cannot be considered, so don’t wait until the last minute!

STUDENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Chesterfield Chapter (CCVSU) offers current VSU students financial assistance with tuition, fees, and books.  The students must be in academic good standing, all majors, no residency requirement, and complete an application.  If financial assistance is needed, please contact us directly at ChesterfieldVSUAA@gmail.com.
